The Library

(Adorable Library Sign from Three Potato Four)

I really love the library. (Despite the fact that I can't seem to remember which day my sons need to return their school library books. Which they should be in charge of remembering anyway.  So I don't need to feel guilty about continually forgetting, right?)  Anyway... When researching for my latest article over at The Savvy Source, I found even more to love about my local library.  The good news is, you don't need to be a King County Library card holder to benefit from these great resources. That's cool, since I'm guessing most of you are reading this from someplace other than the Seattle area.

And here are a few more library-related finds:

Before the next trip to your local library, print this handy (and pretty) Library List from Bird and Little Bird.

This is a cute gift for a little librarian in training, don't you think?

And how about making a home library in an extra closet like this?

And PS,  I love that sign pictured above. Don't you?

So, does your local library have awesome resources that we all could use, regardless of where we live?  I'll bet they do! If so, share them here or over on the Small Types Facebook page.

If you are in the Seattle area, be sure to come find out about my favorite local family-friendly book nooks.  I'll bet you can guess one of my faves.
