We've just finished planning a summer's worth of alphabet play, making our bucket lists and gathering our supplies for Alphabet Summer. (It's "A Day" today!) Thinking about playing with the alphabet reminds me of the wonderful book/collection of art, A Child's Day: An Alphabet of Play, by Ida Pearle.
Wouldn't it be fun to have kids make their own version, maybe with shadow silhouettes or self-portraits? Alphabet books are the best book making inspiration!
What are your favorite alphabet books? I know, it's hard to choose! You can find some more Alphabet favorites over in my Amazon shop.
