Alphabet Chart Art

There are so many great options for using the alphabet as artwork.  Here are a few of my favorites:

I really like this one from Sycamore Street Press because of the sweet colors and the clean design.  Plus, letterpress is just plain wonderful.

And check out these cool alphabet people from The Small Object.

This gallery wrapped canvas from Name Your Design is personalized and ready to hang.

I like this pink one and this outdoorsy animal alphabet chart, both from Rifle Paper Co. (via Family Style)

This one feels old school, like really something that hung in my class when I was a sixth grader.  And the price is nice!

This alphabet from Keep Calm Gallery has a fun twist. Have you ever noticed the "hi" before?  I haven't!

The octopus in this one just cracks me up every time.

Finally, there's this one (pictured above) from Wall Candy.  I just saw it on No Time for Flashcards, and I'm in love.

Do you have a favorite from this list, or elsewhere?

I love the Wall Candy one too. But you know, it occurred to me, which chart would kids like best? And which would be best to stimulate interest in the alphabet and the sounds letters make? I think youngsters might got more for primary colours.

Great point, Susan! I think it depends on the child and his or her developmental level, interests, etc... For example, the prints with pictures corresponding to each letter are best for children who are just learning the sound each letter represents. My 4 year old has just mastered his alphabet and he would like the Wall Candy print because there the letters don't just jump out at you, which makes it interesting for more experienced alphabet learners. He could still use it to reinforce and practice the concept of alphabetical order, but doesn't need the letter/corresponding picture visual cue. If you wanted nursery art that would be visually stimulating for a baby, but also useful as the child grows, I'd pick something with more bold, contrasting colors.
Thanks for raising this important question!
